Foxdog
Scientist have discovered a rare breed of foxes that live in South Africa that react to chromosomes found in many breeds of dogs.
It was always thought that some breeds of dogs and cats have certain characteristics of foxes. A golden Retriever is a prime example of this but lacks several genes of a common fox. Scientist found out that they could take the genes of dozens of dogs and extract the chromosomes to create a genetic makeup suitable for breeding dogs and foxes.
So whats next you ask? Well experts say that the same can be done with cats and foxes, and in the future we might see this. Crazy huh?
